This course covers taxonomy and systematics, functional morphology, physiology, biogeography, and ecology of marine fishes at an advanced level. Accompanying laboratory and field sessions focus on taxonomic identification, morphological structure and function, and habits of marine fishes, and the ecological interactions of these fishes with their biotic and abiotic surroundings.
Prerequisite(s): College zoology or equivalent or consent of instructor; MS 103 recommended.
